  • ① Outline
  • WD-300 is a stand device for precipitation gauges (rain gauges, snowfall gauges). This product is blocks irregular winds comes up from the side of the stand and It is designed to allow rain water and snow to flow down around the rainfall gauge water outlet.
  • ② Characteristic
  • 1) The wind hits the side of the stand, creating erratic winds above the rain gauge.
    This phenomenon prevents rain and snow from falling steadily around the rainfall gauge inlet, causing errors in precipitation data.
    2) To prevent errors like the above, the round top of the WD-300 blocks irregular winds blowing from the bottom of the stand.
    3) Designed to quickly and accurately adjust the horizontal level for rain gauge installation using the leveling nut on the top of the stand.
    4) The material is stainless steel (SUS 304), and even the drainage holes are precision-processed to prevent drainage problems caused by icicles in the winter.

  • ③ WD-300 type
  • 1) There are two types of WD-300 stands: ground-mounted stands(WD-300C type) and pole-mounted stands(WD-300P type).
    2) The ground stand is pre-drilled with anchor bolt holes for installation on cement floors.
    3) The pole-mounted stand is not installed on the ground, but is installed by applying a fixing bracket and a combination bracket so that it can be installed on a vertical support (pillar) such as a telephone pole or electric pole.

     - Top plate diameter: ∅290 (4T)
     - Support pipe diameter: ∅76
     - Bottom size: 198 x 198 mm (anchor bolt spacing 150mm)
  • 2) This is a pole-mounted stands ( Model :　WD-300P type　).
     - Material: Stainless steel (SUS 304)
     - Fastening method: Top and bottom double fastening method
     - Distance between the center of the pillar and the center of the rain gauge: 520mm
     - Basic pole diameter (2 types): ∅120, ∅200
     - The stand device can be custom-made depending on the rod diameter.
