[Snowfall gauge] - Heater type, AC 220V. 

                                                WDSA-205 / 200 


1) The most common built-in heater type (AC 220V, 200W) rain gauge.
2) External shapes and specifications of all products are the same.
3) Products of WDSA-205 / WDSA-200 are classified according to the specifications of the tipping cup.
4) The windshield (WD-400) is sold separately. 
5) WDSA-205, WDSA-200 are certified with Type Approval System of KMA(Korea Meteorological Institute).

① Outline
1) Heating the amount of snowfall with the built-in heater, 1 Pulse occurs when the amount of thawed precipitation is 0.5mm (15.7cc).
2) The heater operates and heats when the temperature sensor is below the internal temperature of 4 ℃.
3) Heater inspection checks whether the heater is heated by turning the test switch ON (red lamp on) while the power switch is on (blue lamp on). In summer, turn off the power switch.

Characteristic
1) The tipping cup is operated by bearings, and there is no breakdown due to foreign substances during long-term use.
2) It guarantees excellent moisture resistance and insect repellency.
3The cable connection is installed with a connector, so it is safe during inspection.
4) For convenience and safety, a power switch and a test switch are configured.
5) The side support was designed to be high to prevent freezing when the amount of snow is heavy and when the ice is thawed and drained.

④ Power and heater
1) Power : AC 220V only
2) Heater : 200W/1A, using temperature sensor
3) Heating operation : Heating operation below +4℃±2℃ (KMA standard), snow thawing.

⑤ Precautions when installing
1) Install on a flat or flat grass or in a place with good visibility.
2) Avoid close proximity to building walls or fences.
3) Keep a sufficient distance from trees with thick branches and be aware of falling leaves.
4) When installing, be sure to check and adjust the level using a leveler and then fix it to the floor with bolts.
5) When fixing the body, observe the horizontal scale of the leveler (according to weather standards).
 
⑥ Precautions for use
1) During regular inspection, remove foreign substances in the water outlet of the rain gauge and inside the tipping cup due to rainfall accompanied by fine dust.
2) In winter, the large net of the culvert must be removed for smooth heating of the snow cover.
3) In the summer season, a large net must be installed to prevent the inlet of the sorghum from being blocked by falling leaves.
4) During regular inspection, loosen the body separation nut and clean it (WD-40 oil is ideal).
5) Once a year, it is effective to coat the water outlet surface and the measuring cup with designated oil (filmed at the time of shipment).
6) If possible, it is recommended to attach and use a windshield (WD-400).

① Outline
1) It is a rain gauge that outputs 1 pulse per 0.5 mm
2) It is a rain meter for DC 12V suitable for unmanned observation areas where AC 220V power supply is not smooth
3) Heat wire heaters are installed in both the water outlet (2.0A) and the tipping cup (0.5A) to show optimal and stable heating effects.

② Characteristic
1) During snowfall in winter, it measures the amount of rainfall by detecting the load of the snow cover in the culvert, operating the heater inside the culvert, and thawing the snow cover.
2) When all the culvert snow melts and the load becomes zero, the DC power is automatically cut off, eliminating  power consumption immediately.
3) The temperature sensor and heater built into the tipping cup prevent freezing in the tipping cup in winter by automatically controlling the power supply.
4) It is designed to know the heating operation by installing a water outlet heating operation lamp.
5) When the air temperature rises through an external temperature sensor, the primary power supply is cut off,  and it can be switched and used only for rainfall measurement.
6) Through stable heating of DC 12V, 2.0A, the amount of remaining snow in the water outlet is gradually thawed and evaporation conditions are suppressed as much as possible.
7) The surface of the water hole was coated with special Teflon to create a film and water droplets, and then slide it to reduce evaporation of the water hole as much as possible.
