① Outline
The WDR-205(200) rainfall gauge precisely analyzes rainfall measurements in valleys, rivers, reservoirs, dams, and farmland. Therefore, it is essential measurement equipment for preventing natural disasters caused by abnormal weather and managing water. The Tipping Bucket, which is a special core part of the measuring equipment, and the specially designed small collecting cup double drain pipe are the world's first measuring equipment that satisfies the convenience of reducing measurement and management time under any conditions. 

② Characteristic
Features of the WDR measuring equipment is that it uses a double drainage pipe of a specially designed small water catcher to drain rainwater collected in a 20cm diameter water catcher, thereby maintaining the water drainage interval evenly. The tipping cup function uses a speacial coating to minimize changes in the amount of water due to foreign matter landing during long-term use, enabling quantitative measurement. When the amoint of precipitaion specified in the tippong cup is tipped to "left" or "right" a signal of 1 PULSE is output.

③ Signal
The sensor's reed switch does not directly convert physical analog changes into electrical codes, so it does not have the ability to protect data. However, BCD coding is possible only with electromagnetic conversion devices. The pulse sensor is covered with a cover to protect the reed switch and provide waterproofing. 

④ Precautions when installing
1) Installation close to walls, trees, etc. is not recommended.
2) It is recommended to place it at least 20cm above the ground to protect it from dust.
3) When installing a rain gauge, secure it with stainless bolts.
4) If possible, it is recommended to attach and use a windbreaker (WD-400).

⑥ Precautions when using the instrument
1) If foreign matter caused by the wind accumulates in the instrument, measurement errors will occur, so careful attention must be paid to removing the foreign matter.
2) Insects affect the operation of rain gauges, so make sure that the conditions inside the rain gauge are good. You must prevent many insects, such as bees, from gathering.
3) When installing, be sure to keep it level and secure it with bolts.
